UNITED SOCCER COACHES TOP 25 POLL - 9-30-25

The Calvin University men's soccer team jumped six spots to number-17 in this week's United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll on Tuesday.

The Knights entered last week ranked 23rd and jumped up to 17th following a 2-0 week that featured wins over Alma College (4-0) and DePauw University (3-1).

Under the direction of head coach Ryan Souders, Calvin is 7-1-0 on the season following the two wins, which included a come-from-behind effort against DePauw on Homecoming Saturday (September 27) in which the Knights scored three goals in the final nine minutes to erase a one-goal deficit to earn their seventh straight win.

So far this season, Calvin has one win over a ranked opponent against Gustavus Adolphus College on September 6. The Gusties were ranked 19th in the poll before the Knights defeated them 4-1 and are now ranked 24th.

This week, Calvin finishes the non-conference portion of its schedule with a match at Lake Forest College (Ill.) on October 1 at 4:00 PM (CT), followed by a non-conference home match against The University of Olivet at 5:00 PM.
