At the end of competition, the Bulldogs edged out the Knights as they beat Calvin 180.60-133.75.

COACHES COMMENTS: "It's been overwhelming today," said head coach Ellen Barker. "It felt like we were in a championship environment and we are very grateful for our experience here at Calvin. I'm very proud of the teams showing today, I thought that we nailed it. Obviously, disappointed we couldn't compete in the team event but hopefully that a one time situation. I tell this team all the time that I have been apart of some other first year teams where, even on our best day, we were not a competitive team. This team is young and they don't yet realize how good they are because they have nothing to compare it to and they just have to take my word for it when I say that they can and will be competitive."

UP NEXT: The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, March 22nd when they travel to Adrian to compete in a tri-meet against the Bulldogs and the Thunder of Trine at 2PM.
