Women's Tennis Whacks Adrian

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Calvin women's tennis team extended its winning streak to five matches on Tuesday. The five-match winning streak is the longest under head coach Kevin Van Haitsma. The Knights picked up a key 9-0 victory over Adrian to move to 4-1 in the MIAA and tied for second place with Kalamazoo. Tuesday was the fifth 9-0 victory of the season for Calvin.

"That was a good, solid match for us," said head coach Kevin Van Haitsma. "I thought Adrian came out of the gate with good intensity. We pulled out some close doubles matches to get a 3-0 lead. We followed it up with pulling out some tight first sets before sealing the win."
