The Calvin University women's soccer team returned to the Intercollegiate Women's Soccer Organization for Coaches (IWSOC) top 25 poll this week in the 20th spot in the rankings.

The Knights entered the season ranked 17th in the preseason poll before falling out following a defeat to 7-0-1 North Central College (ranked 13th in this week's poll) and are back in the poll this week following a pair of 1-0 wins over previously third-ranked University of Chicago (now ranked 21st) and Ohio Northern University.

Calvin's win over Chicago gave the Knights their first win over a ranked opponent this season, and the 2-0 week pushed the Knights' winning streak to four and their overall record to 6-1-0 on the season.

The Knights currently rank third in Region XIII, trailing top-ranked WashU and North Central. 

This week, the Knights will open MIAA play with a road match at Adrian College at 7:00 PM on Wednesday (September 30), followed by a home contest against Saint Mary's College at 1:00 PM at Zuidema Field. Calvin will also be celebrating Senior Day at the conclusion of of the Saint Mary's game.
