Calvin Women's Lacrosse Picked to Finish Second in MIAA Preseason Coaches' Poll

ARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced the 2026 MIAA Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll following a vote of the league's eight head coaches.

Calvin has been picked to finish second. Defending MIAA champion Hope is the preseason favorite with Trine picked to finish third.

Under the direction of veteran head coach Blake Boehm, Calvin finished the 2025 season with a 5-2 MIAA record and a 12-6 overall mark.

Calvin features a roster of 28 players for the upcoming 2026 campaign.

The Knights return several key All-MIAA performers, led by senior attacker/midfielder Audrey Booher, who was voted the 2025 MIAA Most Valuable Offensive Player and earned First Team All-MIAA recognition. Senior defender Natalie Scott and junior goalkeeper Hannah Rizzo also return after earning spots on the 2025 All-MIAA First Team. Two-time All-MIAA attacker Morgan Bethard returns for her senior season following a Second Team selection last year.

Calvin swings into action this weekend, traveling to Eau Claire, Wisconsin. They will compete in a pair of indoor contests, facing host UW-Eau Claire Friday at 6 p.m. (CT) and UW-Stout on Saturday at 10 a.m. (CT).
