Calvin University sophomore Delaney Johnson was named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week for women's lacrosse on Monday.
 
Johnson (Spring Lake, Mich./Spring Lake) won the honor after helping the Knights to a pair of wins to open the season at UW-Eau Claire (17-6) and against UW-Stout (19-9).
 
Johnson recorded 12 points on seven goals and five assists while also recording six ground balls and one caused turnover.
 
After scoring three goals with two assists in the opener, Johnson scored four goals with three assists in the second game.
 
Calvin women's lacrosse will return to action on Friday, February 13, when it travels to Northern Michigan University for a game scheduled to start at 5:00 PM.
