Natalie Scott was named MIAA Defensive Player of the Week for women's lacrosse on Monday.
Scott (Dyer, Ind./Illiana Christian) won the honor after helping the Knights to a pair of wins to open the season at UW-Eau Claire (17-6) and against UW-Stout (19-9).
In the two wins, Scott recorded three ground balls, four caused turnovers and one draw control as the anchor of the Knights' defense.
Along with her statistics, Scott also helped the Knights finish the weekend with a 91.5 percent clear percentage while holding opponents to 7.5 goals per game.
This marks the second time in her career that Scott earned MIAA Defensive Player of the Week honors.
