The Calvin women's soccer team has been pegged as the preseason favorite for the upcoming 2025 MIAA soccer campaign. Calvin has received eight first place votes to gain eight points for first place. Hope received one first place vote and is second with 15 points.
Calvin enters the 2025 season as the favorite after another dominant year in 2024. The Knights finished 15-3-2 overall with a perfect 8-0 MIAA record, winning their fifth-consecutive regular-season championship and their tenth MIAA Tournament title.

Emily Ottenhoff, entering her eighth season, was named 2024 MIAA Coach of the Year. She welcomes back a veteran group highlighted by several award-winners.

Liz Williams, a four-time All-MIAA honoree, returns after earning United Soccer Coaches All-Region VIII Second Team honors. Senior midfielder
Mia Judd, a two-time All-MIAA honoree, is back after being named the 2024 MIAA Most Valuable Player and earning All-Region VIII First Team honors. Senior defender
Lucy Iverson, a three-time All-MIAA honoree, also returns after joining Judd on the All-Region VIII First Team.
The Knights also return 2024 Second Team All-MIAA selections: fifth-year senior goalkeeper

Calvin is scheduled to open its season this coming weekend as the Knights host Wartburg on Friday (4 p.m.) and Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday (4 p.m.). Â On September 27, Calvin will host Ohio Northern at noon in front of a Calvin Homecoming crowd. The Knights are slated to open their MIAA campaign on September 30 when they host Alma for a 7 p.m. contest.
