The Knights started strong as they took the doubled points thanks to wins from sophomore
Rodrigo Alipio (Santos, São Paulo, Brazil/COC Universitario) and Mario Neto (Boa Vista, Brazil/Reino) (6-4) in the number one match and junior
Ryan Broek (Hudsonville, Mich./Unity Christian) and sophomore
Felipe Sartori (Estr. Basileia/Colegio Giusto Zonzini) (6-4) in the number two match.

In singles, Alipio won in straight sets of 6-4 and 6-2 while, after dropping the first set 2-6, freshman
Caleb Bartels (Belton, Mo./Kansas City Christian) bounced back to take the next two sets 6-1 and 6-2.Â

Corwin Kim (Livonia, Mich./Stevenson) also picked up singles wins as the Knights rolled on to claim the 5-2 victory over Bethel.
