Calvin University senior Anna Fernandez was named a Preseason All-American by D3hoops.com this week.
 
Fernandez (Plymouth, Mich./Plymouth Christian Academy) was voted a Fifth Team Preseason All-American by the website coming off a season in which she averaged 14.3 points per game in 2024-25.
 
Following her strong junior season, Fernandez was named All-MIAA First Team and Third Team All-Region by D3hoops.com.
 
The Knights finished the 2024-25 campaign 18-11 overall after winning the MIAA Tournament and earning the program's first postseason bid to the NCAA III Tournament since 2015.
 
Calvin enters this season ranked 18th in the D3hoops.com Preseason Top 25 Poll and 21st in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Preseason Top 25 Poll.
 
The Knights will open the 2025-26 season with a road trip to Wisconsin, where they will play at UW-River Falls on November 7 and UW-La Crosse on November 8.
