Mikaela Waroway has captured the MIAA women's soccer scoring title. A native of Ann Arbor, Waroway (Father Gabriel Richard) tallied an MIAA-leading 16 points in eight conference games.
Waroway produced nine goal contributions in league play with a league-high seven goals and two assists to produce her total of 16 points. Of her seven goals in league competition this fall, three were game-winning goals.
In 16 overall games, Waroway has 19 points on the strength of eight goals and three assists.
Waroway and the Calvin women's soccer team are the top seed for the upcoming MIAA Tournament. Calvin will host an MIAA Tournament semifinal game next Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Calvin Soccer Stadium. The Knights will face the winner of a Saturday first round game between Kalamazoo and Albion.
