Three members of the 2024 Calvin University baseball team have received College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Honors.
Receiving CSC Academic All-District honors from Calvin are senior
Ian Doyle, junior
Ian Schuster and sophomore
Levi Suter. All three players are pitchers.
To receive CSC Academic All-District honors, individuals must be a sophomore or above in academic standing and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or above.
In addition, baseball student-athletes other than pitchers must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games/contests played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games/contests. For baseball pitchers, they must have 17 appearances or 25 innings pitched during the 2024 season.
Doyle is from Grandville, Michigan. He is a graduate of Grandville High School. A four-year member of the Calvin baseball program, he is a secondary education major with a political science major. He carried a 3.56 grade point average and appeared in 13 games with 27.0 innings of work for the Knights this spring.
Schuster is from Howell, Michigan. He is a graduate of Hartland High School. Schuster joined the Calvin baseball program this year and appeared in 11 games and compiled 33.2 innings on the mound. A mechanical engineering major, Schuster carries a 3.52 grade point average.
Suter is from Martinsville, Indiana. He is a graduate of Martinsville High School. He appeared in 18 games for the Knights this spring and recorded 16.0 innings of work. A digital communication major, he holds a 3.60 grade point average.
