Box Score GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- Today the Calvin men's tennis team traveled to Hope College to take on the Flying Dutch. Despite hoping to carry the momentum from yesterday's win into today's match up the Knights fell to Hope 8-1.
 
The Dutch took an early lead by winning the first two doubles matches before Issac Jeong (Novi, Mich./Novi) and Jared Berghorst (Hudsonville, Mich./Hudsonville High School) were able to get the Knights of the board by winning the No. 3 doubles match 8-7(6).
 
Heading into the singles the Dutch reclaimed the momentum as they went on to win all the singles matches to defeat the Knights 8-1.
 
COACHES COMMENTS: "Hope played really well," said head coach John Ross. "We look forward to our match against Alma on Friday."
 
UP NEXT: The Knights will be back on the court on Friday, April 7^th when they travel to Alma to take on the Scots. The match is set to begin at 4 p.m.
