Calvin's number two double team made up by Dream Kwon (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian) and Ethan Carlson (Orland Park, Ill./Carl Sandburg) opened the scoring for the day as they won their match 8-0. The number one double match finished up close behind as juniors Adam Zentner (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston) and Jace DeShetler (Grand Rapids, Mich./North Pointe Christian) won 8-2. The third double match the Knights won by default giving them a 3-0 heading into the singles.

COACHES COMMENT: "I'm happy with today's performance," says Calvin head coach John Ross. "It was great to get players in our lineup today that sometimes don't get a chance to play in matches but always work hard in practice."

UP NEXT: The Knights will be back on the court on Tuesday, April 4th when they travel to Hope to take on the Flying Dutchman at 4 p.m.
