The Calvin women's basketball team has made a move up in the national rankings. The Knights are ranked 17th in this week's D3hoops.com Top 25 poll released Monday evening, up four spots from a week ago.
Calvin has been in the national rankings for nine of the last 10 weeks with its first appearance coming in late November.
Under the direction of head coach
Mark Christner, the Calvin women's basketball team has produced an overall record of 18-3 including 10-2 in the MIAA. All three of Calvin's defeats this year have come to opponents that are or have been nationally-ranked in Hope, Trine and Loras. Calvin also owns a victory over nationally-ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Calvin is preparing for a huge week of nationally-ranked matchups. On Wednesday, Calvin will travel to seventh-ranked Hope for a 7:30 p.m. matchup. On Saturday, Calvin will host 18
th-ranked Trine at 1 p.m. inside Van Noord Arena.
