Anna Fernandez (Plymouth, Mich./Plymouth Christian Academy) will get the opportunity to represent Calvin University one last time this weekend. The senior guard has been selected to play in the WBCA Division III All-Star game this Saturday in Salem, Virginia. The game is scheduled to take place at 1 p.m. ET, preceding the NCAA Division III national championship game in the Creggar Center on the campus of Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia.
 
Anne Crutchfield, former head coach of Emory & Henry University in Emory, Virginia and Adrienne Shibles, former head coach of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine will serve as coaches for the two Division III All-Star teams.
 
Fernandez will be a member of the team coached by Shibles. She is one of 20 Division III student-athletes competing in the game with ten on each team.
 
Fernandez wrapped up an exceptional Calvin last month where she averaged 15.9 points per game on the season on 43.3 percent shooting. She also shot 34.0 percent from beyond the arc, notching 5.4 rebounds per game while racking up 47 assists and 36 steals. She was named to the All-MIAA First Team and was most recently named Second Team All-Region VII by D3hoops.com.

"We are grateful to the WBCA All-Star game committee for selecting her to play. I know she is looking forward to donning the maroon and gold one last time. Anna has been a consummate Knight during her time with us. It seems fitting that she'll share the court one last time with other great seniors from around the country in Salem this weekend."
