Three members of the Calvin University women's basketball program earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday.
Katelyn LaRue (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian),
RyAnn Rohrer (Ludington, Mich./Ludington) and
Ashley Raredon (Caledonia, Mich./South Christian) each earned the honor.
To earn a spot on the CSC Academic All-District Team, individuals must have maintained a cumulative 3.50 grade point average (GPA) and either appeared in over 90 percent of the team's games during the current season or started a minimum of 67 percent of the games. Freshmen are not eligible for nomination.
Calvin women's basketball finished the 2025-26 season with a 16-11 record, including a 10-6 record in MIAA play.
Katelyn LaRue
LaRue earned her second straight CSC Academic All-District honor following a junior season in which she started all 27 games and averaged 9.3 points per game while tying for the team lead with 36 three-point field goals. Coming off an All-MIAA Second Team season as a sophomore in 2024-25, LaRue also averaged 2.3 rebounds and recorded 30 steals this season.
A double major in psychology and communications with a 3.83 GPA, LaRue is also a five-time Calvin Dean's List and two-time MIAA Academic Honor Roll honoree.
RyAnn Rohrer
Rohrer earned Academic All-District honors from the CSC for the second time in her collegiate career after receiving the honor following the 2023-24 season, when she was also named All-MIAA First Team and Third Team All-Region by D3hoops.com. After missing last season due to injury, Rohrer averaged a team-high 7.9 rebounds to go with 12.2 points per game on 45.8 percent shooting on the way to All-MIAA Second Team honors.
An environmental science major with a 3.67 GPA, Rohrer is also a five-time MIAA Academic Honor Roll and seven-time Calvin Dean's List honoree.
Ashley Raredon
Raredon recorded her first CSC Academic All-District honor after a breakout junior campaign this season. Playing in all 27 games with four starts, Raredon was a key contributor in the front court and finished with averages of 2.2 points and 3.7 rebounds per game to go with 22 steals and five blocks in 18.0 minutes per game.
A biochemistry major with a 3.68 GPA, Raredon is a two-time MIAA Academic Honor Roll and five-time Calvin Dean's List honoree.
