The Calvin University triathlon team received team and individual accolades for its academic achievements this season from the Collegiate Triathlon Coaches Association (CTCA) and USA Triathlon. 

Annaliese Admiraal (Pella, Iowa/Pella Christian), Paige Brodeur (St. Charles, Ill./St. Charles East), Rebekah Etherington (Brighton, Mich. Pinckney Community) and Brianna Timmer (Byron Center, Mich./Plymouth Christian) were each named Honorable Mention Scholar All-Americans by the CTCA/USA Triathlon.

Calvin also was named a Scholar American Team by the CTCA/USA Triathlon.

The four individuals won the honor after finishing the semester with a 3.5 grade point average (GPA) or better, while the team honor was thanks to a team GPA of 3.2 or better. 

The 2022 season was the fourth for Calvin triathlon as a varsity program. Head Coach Kattie Carpenter and the Knights are preparing for their fifth season in the fall of 2023.
