ORLANDO, Fla. – Calvin led 4-2 after four innings but the Wolverines tied the game with two runs in the fifth and tallied five runs in the seventh to take control of the game. 

Grove City pounded out 12 hits and capitalized on two Calvin errors to gain the win. 

Calvin had nine hits in defeat. Junior Caden Penn (Macomb, Mich./Lutheran North HS) had two hits as did senior Nick Vogel (Hartford, Wisc./Hartford HS). 

Vogel had a double while Penn had a stolen base. 

Sophomore Jake Monroe (Grandville, Mich./Grandville HS) took the loss for the Knights, striking out four and walking two. 

Sophomore Brayden Schoonbeck (Grand Rapids, Mich./West Catholic HS), senior Will Baldwin (Lake Orion, Mich./Notre Dame Prep) and sophomore Luke Braselton (Grand Rapids, Mich./Catholic Central HS) all saw time on the hill in relief.
