HOLLAND, Mich. – The season for the Calvin men's tennis team came to a close, as the Knights fell at rival Hope 5-0 in the MIAA Tournament semifinals.
Per tournament rules, the match came to completion upon the clinching point of the match.
Hope took a 3-0 lead, winning 8-4 at No. 1 doubles, 8-2 at No. 2 doubles and 8-1 at No. 3 doubles.
The Flying Dutchmen picked up wins at No. 2 and No. 5 singles to bring a close to the match.
Calvin finishes its season with an overall record of 6-6. It marks the sixth time in the last seven years Calvin has reached the MIAA Tournament semifinals.
