Calvin improved to 5-4 overall and 4-2 in the MIAA on the road at Alma with an 8-1 victory on Saturday afternoon.

The Knights swept in doubles action to take the 3-0 lead over the Scots. Senior Daniel Huan (Grand Rapids, MI / Grand Rapids Christian) and Isaac Jeong (Novi, MI / Novi) were 8-1 winners at #1 doubles.

In the #2 doubles, freshman Jesse McCurdy (Anderson, IN / Lapel) and freshman Adam Zentner (Clarkston, MI / Clarkston) won with scores of 8-7, 8-6. Wrapping up doubles action, freshman Harrison Sindelar (Westfield, IN / Westfield) and freshman Jared Berghorst (Hudsonville, MI / Hudsonville) won 8-7, 8-4.

In #1 singles, Daniel Huan didn't drop a set winning 6-0, 6-0 while McCurdy claimed another win for Calvin in the #2 singles winning 6-2, 6-2. Harrison Sindelar won 6-0, 6-0 in the #3 singles for the Knights. Adam Zetner was in the #4 singles for Calvin and won 6-2, 6-2 while Isaac Jeong took home the final points for the Knights with a 6-0, 6-0 win in the #6 singles.
