LAKE FOREST, Il. - The Calvin men's tennis team was defeated by Lake Forest College in a late-night contest at the Racquet Club of Lake Bluff with a score of 7-2.

Starting with the doubles, Joes Larrea and Max Stallings fell to Oleksyi Vshyvanyk and Chase Garber, 8-1 at No. 1. At No. 2 doubles the team of Jacob Tilton and Brant Christensen defeated Owen Brookhouse and Cobe Benzel with a score of 8-5. Rounding up the doubles at No. 3, the team of Daniel Huan and Lucas Schupbach got the Knight's first point of the match by defeating Zach Cho and Oliver Gallego 8-6.

In singles play, Jose Larrea fell to Oleksyi Vshyvanyk at No. 1 with scores of 6-3, 7-5. At No. 2, Max Stallings was defeated by Jacob Tilton with a score of 6-4, 4-6, 1-0.

At No. 3, Owen Brookhouse fell to Chase Garber, 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 while Cobe Benzel fell to Oliver Gallego in two sets with scores of 7-5, 6-1, at No. 4. Daniel Huan defeated Zach Cho 6-3, 7,6 to get another point for the Knights at No. 5. In No. 6 singles, Lucas Schupbach lost to Brant Christensen in two sets of 6-4.
