LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Calvin closed out its spring trip with an 8-2 loss at Covenant College Wednesday afternoon.

Calvin scored a run in the first on a sacrifice fly by freshman Andrew Hung (Waterford, Mich./Waterford Mott HS) but Covenant scored three runs in the fourth and four in the fifth to take control of the game.

Sophomore Ricky Padilla (Poway, Ca./Poway HS) had three of Calvin's five hits including a double. Senior Clay Francisco (Delton, Mich./Thornapple Kellogg HS) got the start and took the loss for Calvin on the mound to move to 1-2 on the year.

Calvin (4-5) is scheduled to open its MIAA season on Saturday with a doubleheader at Hope.
