The Calvin University women's lacrosse team earned both individual and team academic honors from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) on Wednesday.

The team received an Academic Honor Squad recognition while

Margee Boelema (Hudsonville, Mich./Unity Christian),
Riley Cornwell (Fishers, Ind./Heritage Christian),
Jessica Eenigenburg (Norton Shores, Mich./Western Michigan Christian),
Julia Ellsworth (DeWitt, Mich./DeWitt Public),
Megan Gibbs (Perrysburg, Oh./Perrysburg),
Corinne Plumb (St. Louis, Mo./Westminster Christian Academy),
Dacey Redman (Delaware, Oh./Olentangy Berlin),
Natalie Scott (Dyer, Ind./Illiana Christian),
Avery Slings (Dyer, Ind./Central Wisconsin), and
Molly Williams (Grand Haven, Mich./Grand Haven) each earned IWLCA Academic Honor Roll honors.

To be eligible for Academic Honor Roll status, a student-athlete must be a junior, senior or graduate student with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher.

To earn Academic Honor Squad honors, a team must finish the 2025-26 school year with a team GPA of 3.2 or higher.

This marks the second Academic Honor Roll award from the IWLCA for Bethard, Ellsworth and Williams. The Calvin women's lacrosse team finished the 2026 season with a 13-6 record overall and went 6-1 in MIAA play, which was good for second place in the final conference standings.
