Six members of the Calvin women's cross country/track and field programs have received Division III College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.
Named to the CSC Academic All-District Team from Calvin are seniors
Sophie Bull,
RyAnn Rohrer,
Mia DeJonge, and sophomores Peyton Ludwing,
Lily Burns and
Cadence Drougal.
In addition, Bull, Rohrer and DeJonge have been selected to advance to the national ballot and are now eligible for CSC Academic All-America consideration.
To be named to the CSC Academic All-District team, athletes must be of sophomore academic standing or above, have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 and have earned a top-50 placement in their event in their region. Institutions could nominate a maximum of six student-athletes per gender.
SOPHIE BULL (DENVER, Co./Denver Christian HS)
Bull is receiving CSC Academic All-District honors for the third consecutive year. She concluded a legendary distance running career at Calvin this spring. Bull graduated from Calvin with a kinesiology major with an emphasis on a pre-physician's assistant coursework. She graduated from Calvin with a 3.98 grade point average and has been named a two-time CSC Academic All-American. She has been a nine-time NCAA Division III All-American between her cross country and track and field careers, earning All-America honors twice in cross country and seven times in track and field. She has been a three-time individual national champion in track and field, winning the 3,000 meter steeplechase twice and the 3,000 meters (indoors) once. She received USTFCCCA All-Region honors for both indoor and outdoor track and field.
RYANN ROHRER (Ludington, Mich./Ludington HS)
Rohrer is receiving CSC Academic All-District honors for the second straight year in track and field. She has also received the award in women's basketball. She is an environmental science major with a 3.66 grade point average. She was the MIAA outdoor champion this spring in the shot put and discus, helping Calvin win the MIAA outdoor team title. She later qualified for the NCAA III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in both events. She had the top throw in the Great Lakes Region in both the shot put (45-1/2 and discus (152-1). In 2023, she was named the MIAA's Most Valuable Field Event Performer. She has received All-MIAA honors three times in her career. She also earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors for outdoor track and field.
MIA DEJONGE (BELLEVUE, Wash./Bellevue Christian HS)
DeJonge is receiving CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time. She graduated from Calvin with a degree in sports management while holding a 3.58 grade point average. She produced a standout college track and field career over the last four years, punctuated by a pair of All-America runs at the 2026 NCAA III Outdoor Track and Field Championships. DeJonge is a two-time MIAA indoor champion in the 60 meter hurdles. Last month, she won the MIAA outdoor title in the 100 meter hurdles and was a member of Calvin's MIAA champion 400 meter relay team that clocked in with a meet-record time of 47.00. She also holds MIAA and Calvin records in the 60 meter hurdles (8.90). At the 2026 NCAA III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, she earned Division III Second Team All-America honors in the 100 meter hurdles, placing 13
th. She then ran on Calvin's 400 meter relay team that claimed NCAA III First Team All-America accolades with a seventh place finish. One week prior, the relay ran to a school-record time of 46.29 at a last-chance meet in Rock Island, Illinois. DeJonge earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors for both indoor and outdoor track and field.
PEYTON LUDWIG (Ada, Mich./Forest Hills Central HS)
Ludwig is receiving CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time. She is a business marketing major with a 3.76 grade point average. She has been threat for the Calvin women's track and field team in the mid-distance events as well as in the relays. She earned All-MIAA Second Team honors in both indoor and outdoor track and field this spring. At the MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, she was part of Calvin's 4x400 meter relay team that placed second while placing third individually in the 800 meter run. She then earned Division III Second Team All-America honors on Calvin's distance medley relay team that placed 10
th at the NCAA III Indoor Track and Field Championships. At the MIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in May, she was part of Calvin's second place 4x400 meter relay team. Ludwig earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors for both indoor and outdoor track and field.
LILY BURNS (Dexter, Mich./Dexter HS)
Burns is receiving CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time. She is a sports management major at Calvin with a 3.72 grade point average. She was a member of the All-MIAA First Team for indoor track and field team this winter after claiming a league title in the weight throw and placing seventh in the shot put. She later placed seventh in the hammer throw at the MIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in May. Her efforts helped Calvin claim MIAA indoor and outdoor team titles.
CADENCE DROUGAL (Rockford, Mich./Rockford HS)
Drougal is receiving CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time. She is majoring in accounting and finance. She carries a 3.625 grade point average. She put together a sensational indoor and outdoor season of hurdling in track and field. Drougal received All-MIAA Second Team honors for both indoor and outdoor track and field. She placed second in the 60 meter hurdles at the MIAA Indoor Championships and then placed second in the 100 hurdles at the MIAA Outdoor Championships with both performances contributing to MIAA overall team titles. Her season-best time of 14.47 in the 100 meter hurdles at the MIAA Outdoor Championships finished fifth in the Great Lakes Region and earned her a spot on the USTFCCCA Great Lakes All-Region Team.
