Sydney Radigan has been named the Division III Great Lakes Region Outdoor Women's Track Athlete of the Year by the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association.
Radigan (Portland, Ore./St. Stephen's Academy) had a standout year this spring, winning the NCAA Division III National Title in the 100 meter dash and 200 meter dash last weekend while also anchoring Calvin's 4x100 meter relay that placed seventh for added All-America honors at the meet.
She was the MIAA Outdoor champion in the 100 meter dash and 200 meter dash, helping Calvin capture its second straight MIAA Outdoor crown. She landed a spot on the All-MIAA First Team and was named the MIAA's Most Valuable Track Athlete.
Radigan finished with the top times in the Great Lakes Region for the 100 meter dash (11.40) and 200 meter dash (23.50) and was on Calvin's 4x100 meter relay team that had the top time (46.29) in the region.
Earlier this week, Radigan was named the Women's National Athlete of the Meet for the NCAA III Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
