Calvin's
Sydney Radigan was one of three featured women's track and field athletes at a NCAA III Championships pre-meet press conference this afternoon on the campus of Wisconsin La Crosse.
A Calvin University graduate student, Radigan (Portland, Ore./St. Stephen's Academy) is the top seed in the 100 and 200 meter dash events as well as the anchor leg of Calvin's 4x100 meter relay team that is seeded sixth. She will be joined in the relay by freshman
Rayn Rutley (Fenton, Mich./Fenton HS), sophomore
Alison Bailey (Petoskey, Mich./Petoskey HS) and senior
Mia DeJonge (Bellevue, Wash./Bellevue Christian HS).
Radigan was joined in the NCAA III press conference by Aryianna Garceau (UMass-Boston) and Brandy Varner (King's).
Radigan will run in the prelims of the 200 meter dash Thursday at 6:40 p.m. (CT) and the 100 meter dash prelims on Friday at 6:20 p.m. (CT). The prelims of the 4x100 meter relay are set for Friday at 4 p.m. (CT).
Championship finals in all three events are slated for Saturday afternoon.
