RyAnn Rohrer was named MIAA Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for women's track and field on Monday.

Rohrer (Ludington, Mich./Ludington) won the honor following her performance at Grand Valley State University on Saturday.

At the GVSU meet, Rohrer set new season-best marks in the discus and shot put, including a personal-best in the discus.

In the discus, Rohrer had a top throw of 46.36 meters, which ranks eighth in NCAA III, leads the MIAA by nearly eight meters, ranks fifth in Calvin outdoor history and sixth in MIAA history. In the shot, her throw of 13.76 meters leads the MIAA by more than one meter and ranks ninth in NCAA III.

This marks the second time Rohrer has won MIAA Field Athlete of the Week honors and the first time since her freshman season in 2023.

Calvin track and field will return to action this week when it competes at the MIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hope College on Thursday (April 30) and Friday (May 1).
