SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. – The Calvin University men's golf team played Hope to a 4.5-4.5 tie in the Rivalry Cup match play event at Hawkshead Golf Course on Saturday.
The event gave the two teams an opportunity to play the site of next week's MIAA Spring Finale and ended in a tie following the nine individual match play contests.

Reuben Kok (Redlands, Calif./Arrowhead Christian Academy),
Rilley Briggs (Portage, Mich./Vicksburg),
Sam Timmer (Keene, N.H./Keene) and
Matt Turcotte (Grandville, Mich./Calvin Christian) each won their matches, while
Dylan Clark (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian) saw his match finish all square after 18 holes.

NEXT UP: Calvin men's golf will return to action on Wednesday, April 29, when it opens the MIAA Spring Finale at Hawkshead GC. The two-day event will be the final two rounds of the MIAA season, with Calvin entering the tournament in second place in the MIAA standings just two strokes behind Trine University after the four events during the fall season.
