ANGOLA, Ind. - Today the Calvin men's golf team traveled to compete on the first day of the AC Eddy Invitational hosted by Trine University.

After a full day of competition, the Knights finished in fourth place with a team score of 290. Trine held the top two spots with their 'A' team finishing in first with a team score of 280 while the 'B' team had a score of 286.

Senior
Matt Turcotte (Grandville, Mich./Calvin Christian) finished round one even with par at 71, enough to put him in fourth place individually. Sophomore
Dylan Clark (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian) tied for eleventh with a score of 72 while junior
Ethan Tiller (Kalamazoo, Mich./Portage Central) was close behind with a score of 73.

Josiah McClelland (Vicksburg, Mich./Vicksburg) rounded out the scoring for the Knights when he finished with a score of 74. Sophomore
Ford Erickson (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian) also competed in the field and notched a score of 74 while junior
Sam Timmer (Keene, N.H./Keene) recorded a score of 78 when he competed as an individual.
