ALLENDALE, Mich. – Calvin closed out competition at the GVSU Al Owens Classic on Saturday.
Senior
RyAnn Rohrer (Ludington, Mich./Ludington HS) had a big day, winning the shot put with a season-best throw of 42-7 ½ that ranks 27
th in Division III. She also took fifth in the discus with a season-best throw of 130-10 in the discus that ranks 56
th nationally. Sophomore
Lily Burns (Dexter, Mich./Dexter HS) was eighth in the shot put (37-5 ¾).
Senior
Katie Seinen (Jenison, Mich./Unity Christian HS) was sixth in the pole vault with an outdoor season-best height of 11-0 ¾ that ranks 91
st in Division III this spring. Senior

In the 400 meters, sophomore
Jillian Tunnicliff (St. Joseph, Mich./St. Joseph HS) was 12
th in the 400 meters (59.58) and sophomore Emmerson Nordbeck (Livonia, Mich./Franklin HS) 16
th (59.98).
Calvin had a big performance in the 4x100 meter relay as its relay team of Rutley,
Mia DeJonge, DiMaggio and Bailey took fifth with a season-best time of 47.62 that ranks 17
th in Division III. Calvin's 4x400 meter relay team of Tunnicliff, freshman

Robyn Tatko (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian HS) and Schuurmann took sixth in 4:11.14.
Calvin will now break until next week with a select group of athletes competing at the Brian Clay Invitational in California next Thursday and Friday while others will compete next Saturday in the Calvin Invitational located inside the Gainey Athletic Complex.
