Mia DeJonge was named MIAA Track Athlete of the Week for women's track and field on Monday.
DeJonge (Bellevue, Wash./Bellevue Christian) earned the honor after her performance over the weekend at the Emory University Thrills in the Hills invite.
At the two-day meet, DeJonge ran a time of 14.41 in the 100 meter hurdles, which currently ranks first in the MIAA this season, third in MIAA outdoor history, third in Calvin outdoor history, and fifth nationally in NCAA III.
This is the second time this season DeJonge has been named MIAA Track Athlete of the Week this year or previously winning the award during the indoor season in February.
Calvin track and field is set to return to action this weekend when it competes at Grand Valley State University on Friday and Saturday.
