Delaney Johnson was named a USA Lacrosse Women's Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Johnson (Spring Lake, Mich./Spring Lake) won the honor after leading the Knights to a 2-0 weekend at UW-Eau Claire and against UW-Stout and is the NCAA III honoree from USA Lacrosse for the Women's Player of the Week award.
In the two wins, Johnson scored 12 total points on seven goals and five assists. After scoring three goals with two assists in a 17-6 win over UW-Eau Claire in the season opener, Johnson scored four goals with three assists in a 19-9 win over UW-Stout on February 6.
This marks the second award for Johnson this week after she also took home MIAA Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
Calvin women's lacrosse return to action on Friday, February 13, when it plays at Northern Michigan University at 5:00 PM.
