Aerin Baker was named MIAA Volleyball Player of the Week on Monday.

Baker (Saugatuck, Mich./Saugatuck) earned the honor for her performance over the weekend as she helped the Knights to a 3-0 record at the MIAA/NCAC Challenge hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University.

In the three matches, Baker averaged 4.0 kills per set with a .235 efficiency on the attack while also contributing around the court with an average of 2.69 digs per set to go with six service aces.

In Saturday's four-set win over Ohio Wesleyan, Baker set a new career-high with 21 kills to lead the Knights. She finished Friday's win over Wittenberg University with 16 kills and capped the tournament with 15 kills in a win over Denison University.

This marks the fourth time Baker has won MIAA Volleyball Player of the Week honors during her career.

Calvin women's volleyball returns to action on Friday, September 12, when it starts a two-day tournament at Wheaton College (Ill.) with a match against UW-Stevens Point.
