Three members of the Calvin University men's golf team were named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars as part of the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Jackson Glanzer (Stevensville, Mich./Berrien Springs),
Jack Marzolino (Byron Center, Mich./Byron Center) and
Matt Turcotte (Grandville, Mich./Calvin Christian) each earned the award.
To be eligible for the honor, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. Earlier this summer, Glanzer and Turcotte were named Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators. The three golfers are among 201 recipients of the Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar awards in NCAA III this season.
All three players secured All-MIAA honors for their performance during the 2024-25 season, with Turcotte and Marzolino earning All-MIAA First Team honors while Glanzer was named All-MIAA Second Team.
Calvin men's golf finished the 2024-25 season in third place in the final MIAA standings with an average score of 298.3 strokes in six MIAA competitions.
