The Calvin University men's lacrosse team received a Team Academic Award from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) this week.
 
The Knights earned the honor thanks to finishing the 2024-25 academic year with a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
 
Earlier this week, senior Josh Gage (Livonia, Mich./Detroit Catholic Central) was named a Division III Scholar All-American by the USILA, becoming the fourth player in program history to receive that honor.
 
Under the direction of head coach Dave Hoger, Calvin men's lacrosse finished the 2025 season with a 6-10 record and went 3-3 in MIAA play, good for fourth place in the final MIAA standings.
