Three members of the Calvin University women's lacrosse team were named Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday.
Morgan Bethard,
Jessica Eenigenburg and
Molly Williams each earned the honor.
To receive the honor, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in eligibility and maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher. Lacrosse players must compete in at least 90 percent of their team's contests or start 66 percent of their games during the season.
The Calvin women's lacrosse team finished the 2025 season with a 12-5 overall record and went 5-2 in MIAA play, good for third place in the final conference standings.
Morgan Bethard
Bethard (DeWitt, Mich./DeWitt) earned her second straight CSC Academic All-District honor this season after a junior season in which she scored 38 goals and recorded 47 points. In her career, Bethard ranks 12th on the Calvin career record list in goals (80), points (104) and assists (24).
A sports management and psychology major with a 3.61 GPA, Bethard is a two-time MIAA Academic Honor Roll member and a six-time Calvin Dean's List honoree.
Jessica Eenigenburg
Eenigenburg (Norton Shores, Mich./Western Michigan Christian) is a first-time CSC Academic All-District honoree. This season, she played in all 17 games and finished with nine goals, five assists and 14 points to go with 28 draw controls and 19 ground balls.
A sophomore mechanical engineering major with a 3.62 GPA, Eenigenburg is a one-time MIAA Academic Honor Roll honoree and four-time Calvin Dean's List member.
Molly Williams
Williams (Grand Haven, Mich./Grand Haven) was named CSC Academic All-District for the second straight season in 2025 following a strong junior campaign in which she played in all 17 games and finished with 10 caused turnovers and 12 ground balls.
A business marketing and business management major with a 3.82 GPA, Williams is a two-time MIAA Academic Honor Roll and six-time Calvin Dean's List honoree.
