Five members of the Calvin University women's lacrosse team received postseason honors from the MIAA on Tuesday following the end of the regular season.
Junior
Audrey Booher was named MIAA Offensive Player of the Year as well as All-MIAA First Team, while
Meghan Change earned MIAA Defensive Player of the Year to go with her All-MIAA First Team honor.
Natalie Scott and
Hannah Rizzo were each named All-MIAA First Team, and
Morgan Bethard was named All-MIAA Second Team.
Calvin finished the 2025 regular season 11-5 overall and 5-2 in MIAA play and then defeated Kalamazoo College 21-7 in the first round of the MIAA Tournament. The Knights will play in the MIAA Tournament semifinals against Trine University today at 4:00 PM.
Audrey Booher
Booher (Fishers, Ind./Heritage Christian) was named the conference's top performer on offense after a stellar junior season in which she led the Knights in goals (53), points (23) and shots (135) throughout the season. In MIAA play, Booher ranked second in the conference in goals (25), goals per game (3.57), points (33) and points per game (4.71). She also ranked first in shots per game (9.0) and tied for seventh in assists per game (1.14).
For her career, Booher ranks fifth in Calvin women's lacrosse program history with 50 assists and ranks sixth in both goals (104) and points (154).
Along with her season-long award, Booher also earned MIAA Offensive Player of the Week four times this season.
Meghan Chang
Chang (Clarksburg, Md./Clarksburg) earned Defensive Player of the Year after a strong senior season in which she ranked among the league leaders in numerous categories. The team's lone senior, Change provided leadership up and down the field and ranked first on the team in draw controls (108), caused turnovers (35) and assists (25) while also ranking second on the team in points (59) and fourth in goals (34).
In MIAA play, Chang led the conference in draw control (52) and draw controls per game (7.43) while also ranking in the top three in ground balls (22), ground balls per game (3.14), caused turnovers (18), caused turnovers per game (2.57), assists (12) and assists per game (1.71).
For her career, Chang is the program's all-time leader in career caused turnovers (89). She also ranks third in both draw controls (195) and assists (53) and fourth in ground balls (163) for her career.
This is the second straight season Chang has been named All-MIAA in her career after being All-MIAA Second Team in 2024. She was also named MIAA Specialist of the Week on four separate occasions this season.
Natalie Scott
Scott (Dyer, Ind./Illiana Christian) started all 17 games this season on defense and helped the Knights hold opponents to 9.43 goals per game. As a leader in the defensive group, the junior finished with 26 caused turnovers and 23 ground balls.
During MIAA play, Scott tied for sixth place in the conference in both caused turnovers (12) and caused turnovers per game (1.71).
Hannah Rizzo
Rizzo (Waterville, Ohio/Anthony Wayne) started all 17 games in goal for the Knights and finished with a 9.44 goals against average. In her first season as the team's starting goalie, Rizzo held a .431 save percentage.
In MIAA play, Rizzo ranks first among full time goalies in the conference with a .462 save percentage and second in goals against average (8.96).
Morgan Bethard
Bethard (DeWitt, Mich./DeWitt) earned All-MIAA Second Team honors at the end of a strong junior season in which she ranked third on the team in goals (38) and fourth in points (47).
During league play, Bethard tied for sixth in the MIAA in both goals (21) and goals per game (3.0). She also tied for 12th in the conference in points (24) and points per game (3.43).
