For the first time since the 2016-17 academic year, Calvin University has won the MIAA Women's All-Sports Award. It marks the 10th time that Calvin has won the women's competition.
Calvin finished with 72.5 points, a half-point ahead ahead of Hope which placed second (72.0) with Trine placing third (70.5 points) in the women's all-sports standings.
The MIAA Women's All-Sports Award is based upon team finishes in the league standings. During the 2024-25 academic year, the Calvin women's athletics program claimed MIAA Championship titles in cross country, soccer, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field, while placing in the top three in nine of its eleven sponsored sports.
Calvin took second in the MIAA Men's All-Sports Award standings with 72 points with Hope taking first with 73.5 points. The Calvin men's athletics program claimed MIAA Championship titles in cross country, men's basketball and swimming and diving.
Combined, Calvin finishes in the MIAA Men's and Women's All-Sports Award standings put Calvin in second place in the overall MIAA Commissioner's Cup standings with 144.5 points with Hope taking first with 145.5 points. The MIAA Commissioner's Cup award is based on the cumulative performance of each member school in eighteen of the league's sports for men and women.
