Calvin has finished 25th in the final 2025-26 NCAA III Learfield Directors' Cup standings with a total of 600.5 points.

The finish is a significant move up from a year ago for Calvin with the Knights placing 44^th in the final 2024-25 standings with 401.0 points.

This is the 29^th year of the Learfield Directors' Cup competition at the Division III level with the Knights now posting 22 finishes (out of 29) in the final Top 25 standings. This marks Calvin's first Top 25 finish since 2018-19.

FINAL 2025-26 LEARFIELD DIRECTORS' CUP STANDINGS

Washington University of St. Louis won the 2024-25 title as the best athletics program in the nation in Division III with a score of 1,266.50 points, edging Tufts for the title by a four-point margin.

The Cup is presented annually by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and Learfield Sports to the best overall collegiate athletics programs in the country, and is based on points earned by teams that compete in NCAA Championship events.

Division III points are awarded based on finish in championship competition. Each national champion receives 100 points with a national runner-up finish worth 90 points. Third place is worth 80 points and fourth place finishes count for 75 points with a sliding point scale continuing on down by order of finish.

Calvin picked up 180.0 points during the spring sports season. The Calvin women's outdoor track and field team took 4^th at the NCAA III Championships to account for 80 points with softball placing 17^th for 50 points and men's golf 23^rd for 50 points to round out its spring point total. Calvin scored 180.5 points in the winter and 240 points in the fall.

Combined, 11 of Calvin's 23 sports teams eligible for NCAA III Tournament competition in 2025-26 scored Directors' Cup points during the academic year.
