COACH'S COMMENT: "It was helpful to submit two teams for this tournament to give more guys a chance to post competitive scores," Calvin head men's golf coach
Brian Bolt said. "The Meadows is a very challenging course and it's a great test of golf. Both the 'A' and 'B' squad settled in and played much better on day two, and we were able to move up the leader board. We were led by
Matt Turcotte's stellar one-under par 70, which was the low round of the day, and
Jackson Glanzer who fired a 72.
Ethan Tiller led he 'B' squad with an even-par 71. When we can pair our depth with elite scoring at the top, we can put together winning rounds. Our next step is to do that more consistently, and we are getting close."
NEXT UP: Calvin men's golf will return to action on April 21 when it hosts the Knight Invite at Watermark Country Club.
