Today Calvin University men's volleyball players Gabriel Laughlin and Nick Bultje were named Honorable Mention All-MCVL.
 
The two players both received the award for the second year in a row as they played key pieces in the Calvin attack this season.
 
Gabriel Laughlin
 
Laughlin (Grand Rapids, Mich./West Michigan Aviation Academy) finished the 2025 season leading the team in kills (192) and kills per set (2.21) while posting a .172 hitting percentage. The senior also picked up 12 service aces throughout the season and ranked third on the team in blocks per set (0.76). 
 
Nick Bultje
 
Bultje (Byron Center, Mich./South Christian) made his presence upfront known this season as he led the team in blocks (79.0) while ranking second on the team in blocks per set (0.81). The sophomore also gave the Knights a boost offensively as he finished the 2025 season with 177 kills and a team high hitting percentage of .275. He also recorded 19 service aces on the year.
 
The Knights finished their second season with an 8-18 overall record while going 1-7 in conference play.
