Box Score GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Today the Calvin women's tennis team took on Bethel where they fell 3-4. Bethel took the lead in the double portion of the match when they won all three matches against Calvin. 
 
In singles, freshman Ava Clara Ornellas (Londrina, Brazil/Colegio Saber) won the No. 2 match in two sets with scores of 6-3 and 6-0 while freshman Ryan Morey (Grand Rapids, Mich./Forest Hills Northern) picked up a win in the No. 6 match with scores of 6-4 and 6-3. Despite dropping the first, senior Catherine Grissom (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central) battled in the No. 3 singles match as she forced a third set before ultimately falling with scores of 2-6, 6-2, and 0-1 (6). 
 
Bethel dominated the rest of the singles matches which powered them forward to the 4-3 victory over the Knights.
 
UP NEXT: The Knights will be back in action on Wednesday, March 26th when they welcome Spring Arbor to campus for a 4PM match.
