WBCA D3 PRESEASON TOP 25 POLL - 10-28-25
The Calvin women's basketball team is ranked 21
st in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division III Top 25 preseason poll.
The Knights are now ranked in two national polls as they are ranked 18
th in the D3hoops.com Top 25 preseason poll.
Calvin is coming off a strong 2024-25 campaign that saw the Knights finish 18-11 overall, take third in the MIAA regular season standings at 11-5 and then claim their first MIAA Tournament crown since 2015.  Calvin also reached the NCAA III Tournament for the first time since 2017.
Calvin returns four starters from its 2024-25 team in senior 
Anna Fernandez and juniors 
Katelyn LaRue, 
Chloe Wiegers and 
Hannah Sall. Fernandez was a 2025 All-MIAA First Team selection as well as a D3hoops.com All-Region Third Team choice. LaRue was a 2025 All-MIAA Second Team honoree. The Knights also return three players with significant starting experience that missed all of most of the 2024-25 season in seniors 
Emma Witte, 
RyAnn Rohrer and 
Sami DeKuiper. Rohrer was a member of the 2024 All-MIAA First Team and D3hoops.com All-Region Third Team. Also returning with significant playing experience include juniors 
Lydia Sall and 
Ashley Raredon and sophomores 
Gabby Halliwill and 
Jamie Custer
Led by head coach 
Mark Christner, the Knights are scheduled to open their season on November 7 at Wisconsin-River Falls. Calvin's home opener is slated for November 14 when it hosts Ohio Wesleyan University.
