GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Calvin University women's lacrosse team earned both team and individual academic honors from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) on Wednesday.
 
Three individuals were named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, while the Calvin women's lacrosse team was named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad.
 
The three individual Academic Honor Roll honorees were Lainey Aldridge (Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich./Grosse Pointe North), Katie Winkle (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian) and Kelly Ruha (New Hope, Minn./Robinsville Armstrong).
 
To be eligible for Academic Honor Roll status, a student-athlete must be a junior, senior or graduate student with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher.
 
To earn Academic Honor Squad honors, a team must finish the 2023-24 school year with a team GPA of 3.2 or higher.
 
The Calvin women's lacrosse team finished the 2024 season with a 6-11 record, including a 3-4 MIAA mark.
