For the first time since the 2018-19 academic year, Calvin University has won the MIAA Men's All-Sports Award. It marks the ninth time that Calvin has won the men's competition.
Calvin finished with 70.5 points, one point ahead of Trine which placed second (69.5) with Hope placing third (65 points) in the men's all-sports standings.
The MIAA Men's All-Sports Award is based upon team finishes in the league standings. During the 2023-24 academic year, the Calvin men's athletics program claimed MIAA Championship titles in cross country, soccer, swimming and diving, while clinching a share of the basketball and tennis trophy.
Calvin took second in the MIAA Women's All-Sports Award standings with 70 points with Hope taking first with 79.5 points. The Calvin women's athletics program claimed MIAA Championship titles in cross country and soccer.
Combined, Calvin finishes in the MIAA Men's and Women's All-Sports Award standings put Calvin in second place in the overall MIAA Commissioner's Cup standings with 140.5 points with Hope taking first with 144.5 points. The MIAA Commissioner's Cup award is based on the cumulative performance of each member school in eighteen of the league's sports for men and women.
