GRANVILLE, Ohio – Calvin University junior Wil Goodpaster competed for the second straight day at the NCAA Division III Diving Regional hosted by Denison University on Saturday.
 
Goodpaster (Hamilton, Mich./Hamilton) competed off the one-meter diving board on Saturday, finishing 12th out of 20 competitors with a total score of 390.75.
 
In his 11 dives, Goodpaster finished with a 35.52 average round score and a 5.12 event average score.
 
On Friday, he finished 14th out of 20 off the three-meter board with a total score of 373.35.
 
This season, Goodpaster became just the second Calvin men's diver to be named MIAA Most Valuable Diver following the MIAA Swimming & Diving Championships, where he took first in the one-meter competition and third off the three-meter board.
 
Goodpaster also was named MIAA Diver of the Week five times this season.
