GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Calvin picked up a 5-2 victory over Davenport in a penalty-filled contest Saturday night.
Calvin improves to 20-7-1 overall with the win.

Holden Pratt scored goals in the second period to give the Knights a 2-0 advantage after two.
Sophomore
Steven Ickes scored in the opening moments of the third period to put the Knights up 3-0.
Davenport scored 2:52 in the third to cut the gap to 3-1 but junior
Joshua Ernst put Calvin up 4-1 with a goal 6:53 into the third.
Davenport later led 4-2 but the Knights closed out the game with a goal in the final minute of play on a shot from Ernst.
The contest featured more than 70 total penalty minutes.
Calvin held a 44-32 shots on goal advantage. Freshman
Adam Yost had 30 saves for the Knights in goal.

Mike Petrusma. "Our guys did a good job of staying with all of the different situations that came during this game. Now we look forward to playing PNW next weekend to wrap up the regular season."
NEXT UP: Calvin will face 11
th-ranked Purdue University-Northwest next weekend, facing PNW on the road Friday at 8 p.m. and hosting the Pride Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at Eagles Ice Center.
