ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Calvin University men's track and field had several performers participate in the Midwest Twilight last chance meet on Thursday at Augustana. 

Isaac Jonker (Denver, Colo./Denver Christian) improved on his season-best performance in the hammer throw with a top throw of 54.21 meters to take eighth place in that event.

Eric Swinson (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) ran in the last event of the day and topped his season-best time in the 3000 meter steeplechase in a time of 9:17.52 to finish sixth. His previous top time came in at 9:18.18.

Koby VanderWoude (Caledonia, Mich./Caledonia) finished sixth in the 400 meters with a time of 49.13.

VanderWoude also participated in the 4x400 meter relay, teaming with Corbin DeBoer (Hudsonville, Mich./Unity Christian), Connor Lubberts (Jenison, Mich./Jenison) and Morrison Ismond (Ada, Mich./Lowell) to finish in a season-best time of 3:16.59 to move into the top 50 in NCAA Division III for the season.
