A record 13 members of the Calvin men's track and field team have been named to the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association Division III Great Lakes All-Region Team for outdoor track and field. The top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams.

Receiving All-Region honors from Calvin are graduate student Koby Vanderwoude, senior Connor Lubberts, juniors Zach Van Baren, Luke Nguyen and Bob Horton, sophomores Simon Vandenbroek, Lucas Jambekar, Benjamin Habers and freshmen Sam Abdalla, Zach Hartemink, Alex Lutgring, Hudson Shoup and Gabe Van Goor.

KOBY VANDERWOUDE (Caledonia, Mich./Caledonia HS)

VanderWoude is receiving All-Region honors in three events, the 200 meter dash, 4x100 meter relay and 4x400 meter relay. He was ranked eighth in the 200 meters (21.46) with Calvin's 4x100 meter relay ranked sixth (41.09) and its 4x400 meter relay team ranked eighth (3:17.09).  

CONNOR LUBBERTS (Jenison, Mich./Jenison HS)

Lubberts is receiving All-Region honors in the 4x400 meter relay as the team was ranked eighth in the region (3:17.09).

ZACH VAN BAREN (Hudsonville, Mich./Covenant Christian HS)

Van Baren is receiving All-Region honors in the decathlon where he had top point total in the region with 6,626 points.

LUKE NGUYEN (Houston, Tx./Carl Wunsche Sr.)

Nguyen is receiving All-Region honors for his performance in the triple jump where he was ranked eighth with a leap of 46-4 3/4.

BOB HORTON (Rockford, Mich./Rockford HS)

Horton is receiving USTFCCCA All-Region honors as a member of Calvin's 4x400 meter relay team that was ranked eighth in the region (3:17.09).

LUCAS JAMBEKAR (Grosse Pointe, Mich./Grosse Pointe North HS)

Jambekar is receiving All-Region honors for his work in the javelin. His top throw of 179-10 is ranked seventh in the Great Lakes Region.

SIMON VANDENBROEK (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian HS)

Vandenbroek is receiving USTFCCCA All-Region honors for his efforts in the high jump. His jump of 6-7 is ranked seventh in the Great Lakes Region.

SAM ABDALLA (Grand Rapids, Mich./Forest Hills Northern HS)

Abdalla is also receiving USTFCCCA All-Region accolades for his efforts in the high jump. His jump of 6-7 is ranked seventh in the Great Lakes Region.

BENJAMIN HABERS (Lake Ann, Mich./Traverse City West HS)

Habers is receiving All-Region honors for his efforts in the 4x100 meter relay and 4x400 meter relay. Calvin's 4x100 meter relay is ranked sixth in the Great Lakes Region (41.09) with its 4x400 meter relay team ranked eighth (3:17.09).

ZACH HARTEMINK (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian HS)

Hartemink is receiving USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the pole vault. He is ranked sixth in the Great Lakes Region in the event with a vault of 15-8 ¼).

ALEX LUTGRING (Battle Creek, Mich./Pennfield HS)

Lutgring is receiving USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the discus. He is ranked sixth in the Great Lakes Region in the event with a throw of 161-8.

HUDSON SHOUP (Charlotte, NC/Charlotte Latin HS)

Shoup is receiving USTFCCCA All-Region honors as a member of Calvin's 4x100 meter relay team that was ranked sixth in the Great Lakes Region with a time of 41.09.

GABE VAN GOOR (White Lake, Mich./Clarkston HS)

Van Goor is receiving USTFCCCA All-Region honors as a member of Calvin's 4x100 meter relay team that was ranked sixth in the Great Lakes Region with a time of 41.09.
